Two Systems, One Home
This Chimney 911 Chimney Sweep project in Milltown, New Jersey brought together two distinct scopes of work at the same property. The home's heating system needed a chimney liner, while the fireplace required HeatShield work. The project also included a cap damper and repair of the chimney flashing.

- HeatShield work for the fireplace
- Cap damper installation
- Chimney flashing repair
A Liner for the Heating System
We installed a chimney liner serving the home's furnace. This part of the project concerned the heating system's venting, separate from the fireplace work. The basement photographs document the equipment area and the vent connections at the chimney wall.
HeatShield Work for the Fireplace
For the fireplace, we carried out HeatShield work and installed a cap damper. The photographs show the fireplace flue, the rooftop cap assembly, and the damper's operating cable and control inside the fireplace.
Attention at the Roofline
The work also included chimney flashing repair where the brick chimney meets the roof. This exterior portion of the project complemented the work on the home's two chimney systems.
