This Privacy Policy explains what information Chimney 911 ("Chimney 911", "we", "us") collects through chimney911.com, by phone, by email and by text message, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you send a scheduling request through the Book Now form, we collect what you enter:

• your name, phone number and email address;
• your ZIP code, the service you need and your preferred day or time;
• an optional message and an optional photo;
• whether you chose each of the two optional text-message boxes, as described in the text message section below.

If you call or email us, we receive the information you give us, such as your phone number or email address. Our hosting provider and security tools may also log technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

How we use it

• To respond to your request, schedule an inspection, cleaning or repair, and carry out the work.
• To send scheduling and service communications about your request by phone, email and, if you chose that option, text message.
• To send marketing text messages only if you separately chose the marketing option.
• To keep records of our communication with you, protect the site from spam and misuse, and meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages (SMS)

The Book Now form collects your phone number so we can contact you about your request. Providing a phone number does not sign you up for text messages. The form has two separate, optional checkboxes, both unchecked until you check them: one for scheduling and service text messages (non-marketing) and one for marketing text messages. You can submit the form without checking either box. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of requesting an appointment or buying any service.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or text HELP for assistance. More details are in the SMS / Messaging Terms section of our Terms & Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Records of your text message choices

For each Book Now submission we keep a record of whether you checked each text-message box, the exact wording shown to you, the date and time, the page the form was submitted from, the phone number you entered and a submission ID. We keep this record to show that you gave, or did not give, consent.

Who processes information for us

We use service providers to operate the site and our business: website hosting (Hostinger), email delivery and the software and carriers that deliver text messages for us. These providers handle information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Photos

If you add a photo to the Book Now form, it is sent to our office by email with your request. We do not keep a copy of it on the website server after the email is sent.

Cookies and analytics

The site may use cookies and similar technology that it needs to work. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy before we do.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it to respond to you, schedule and perform work, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. We keep text-message consent records for as long as we need them to show your choices.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing office@chimney911.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will respond as the law requires. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us.

Children

The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
