Chimney Crown Repair
The exterior work focused on repairing the chimney crown. The supplied rooftop photograph shows the crown surface around the clay flue openings, documenting this part of the project.
Smoke Chamber Parging and Sweeping
Inside the fireplace system, the smoke chamber received parging: coating and smoothing its interior surfaces. Sweeping was also included as a separate service. Two close interior photographs provide views toward the smoke chamber through the fireplace throat.
Firebox Mortar Repair
The project also included repairing mortar in the firebox. A photograph of the firebox masonry accompanies this portion of the work, keeping the interior repair distinct from the crown work above.
